Who We Are...

 

The New York State Association for School Personnel Administrators (NYSASPA) was established in 1966 to serve as a resource to human resource administrators in school districts and BOCES across the state.  Now celebrating our 55th year, we continue to provide support and education to our members. 

 

NYSASPA is an affiliate of the American Association for School Personnel Administrators (AASPA) established in 1938, also dedicated to provide members with "services, resources, and information vital to successful school HR practices in the interest of students." 

 

The NYSASPA Virtual Conference will take place throughout the year with five pre-arranged sessions and additional bonus sessions throughout the year.  This will allow participants to join a variety of sessions and interact with many.  These five days of engaging programs will leave you feeling rejuvenated and armed with new ideas, resources and contacts to help you during these very difficult times and beyond.  

 

We look forward to an exciting 2020 Virtual Conference and although it will be remote, we will be supporting each other throughout the entire year.  This amazing program is the creation of many individuals but I want to thank the Executive Board, especially our President-Elect & Conference Chair Dr. Lynn Allen, with the support of Vice President, Dave Cirillo, Corresponding Secretary, Maureen Berman, Recording Secretary, Patrick Flaitz and our Executive Director, Bill Domm.  

 

Our kickoff for this year’s Virtual Conference will be September 23, 2020.
