Who We Are...


The New York State Association for School Personnel Administrators (NYSASPA)

was established in 1966 to serve as a resource to human resource administrators in school districts and BOCES across the state.  Now celebrating our 53rd year, we continue to provide support and education to our members. 


NYSASPA is an affiliate of American Association for School Personnel Administrators (AASPA) established in 1938, also dedicated to provide members with "services, resources, and information vital to successful school HR practices in the interest of students." 


AASPA Executive Director, Kelly Coash-Johnson joined us again at the 2018 Conference, and hosted an AASPA Bookstore experience for our members.   Kelly's return attendance at our conference is an important official presence by an officer of our parent organization!


We look forward to another exciting agenda in 2019, put together by our President-Elect & Conference Chair Alana Golden, with the support of this year's Conference Committee members.
