A major activity and event of NYSASPA is the Annual Conference. This year, the conference is scheduled for October 15 ­ 18, 2006. We are set to return to the beautiful Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, New York. This annual event features a variety of informative sessions and interesting speakers on timely topics related to school personnel matters. In addition, this conference affords all of us a wonderful opportunity to share experiences and expertise. It is comforting to learn that issues which confront you are similar if not the same as issues which confront your colleagues. Other people are facing the same challenges, and they can offer you solutions, support and a fresh perspective. In addition to the tangible benefits of this conference, it gives us a chance to establish new professional friendships and linkages.
